Hiring Shop Technician for Fort St. John Office

We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced shop technician with good organizational skills and a work ethic for conducting the following:

  • Working with Area Manager to supervise daily shop activities
  • Maintain quality control of breathing equipment, gas detection, and rescue equipment
  • Maintain documentation control of all area equipment
  • Maintain inventory control of all area assets
  • Available for occasional onsite / field days based on competency and training
  • Available for occasional overtime callouts while on schedule
  • Further duties and details upon interview and hire

Preference will be given to those who have current shop experiences within the safety industry and relative certifications. We are looking for candidates that possess multiple of the below qualifications, however, we are not limiting ourselves and will provide training for the selected candidates.

  • MSA C.A.R.E Breathing Apparatus Technician
  • Scott Breathing Air System Service Technician
  • BW Service Repair Training
  • RAE Portable Instrument Technician Training
  • Fire Extinguisher Service and Repair Training
  • Mechanical Inclination
  • Clean Class 5 Albert Drivers License
