Originally from Ontario, Sean Smith moved out West in 2010 to continue his career in community, recreation and leisure services. Working from the Northwest Territories to Puerto Rico he was involved in the design and implementation of community youth programs while making positive changes in people’s lives.

Looking for a challenge and to continue helping out his community he joined the Lac St. Anne volunteer fire fighting department in 2011. Over the last 5 years he has responded to numerous emergency calls throughout Central Alberta ranging from motor vehicle accidents to structure/wildland fires.

Taking his emergency response career one step further he started with Safety Boss’ firefighting division in 2014. Continuing to improve his knowledge and experience he has trained within numerous divisions and today is a member of our well control team, a high angle rescue technician and an Alberta certified emergency medical responder. In 2016 he completed his full NFPA level 2 certification and still volunteers for his community when he’s not busy applying his skills to your job site on behalf of Safety Boss.

Sean’s positive attitude, his willingness to learn and help wherever he can makes him a valued member of the Safety Boss team and we look forward to his long career with us. Thanks Sean.
