Blowouts
H2S blowouts – H2S production has been a major part of the Canadian Oil and Gas industry since the 30’s, Canada has remained as one of the leading producers of H2S since that time. Safety Boss has been on hundreds of H2S blowouts some of which have involved flow rates of over 150 mm/D and H2S concentrations of over 50%.
Capping while burning – Over the past couple of decades it has become common under certain circumstances for governments regulators to require the intentional ignition of uncontrolled sour gas releases. This means that the well must be capped while it is continues to burn, Safety Boss has the experience and equipment to do this.
Some of Safety Boss’s most unique experiences include:
Remote area operations – The Company has successfully controlled numerous blowouts in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America. These include some of the most inaccessible and difficult terrain as well as offshore, Arctic and muskeg areas. |

Arctic sub-zero operating conditions Canada is winter country, it is not unusual to experience –20 to –60-degree temperatures for months at a time. Firefighting and blowout recovery operations at these temperatures pose significant challenges, no other company has anywhere near Safety Boss’s experience in dealing with these deep sub-zero conditions.
