Shell’s annual hockey tournament took place last weekend – April 9th and 10th – and Safety Boss was invited to play. The tournament was hosted at the River Cree Hotel, Casino and Twin Rinks and there were 16 Teams competing this year.
Although the tournament’s purpose was to have fun and to promote camaraderie, the challenge and competition was real.
Tyler Farmer, corporate salesman for Safety Boss Inc., played on the CWI team (team photo shown above) and said “The battle to get into the finals would test our team’s endurance and skills. The two teams that played in the finals were playing their fifth game in under thirty hours.” In the end, Shell’s CWI team lost a heart wrenching game to the champion Deep Basin team.
Congratulations Deep Basin team on your win and congratulations to the CWI team for making it to the finals!
